The Build - Hull 1
Ayton Cross tug kit purchased from Mobile Marine Models
It was delivered on 19th December 2019
Begin basic hull preparation and measuring up before cutting holes for running gear
As advised on the modelboatmayhem forum - its not safe to rely on the MMM castings marks for Korts, P-frame or Prop shafts, best only for an approximation.
Using some setsquares I set up a couple of parallel lines for the prop shafts and true enough the casting marks were a few mm out.
Holes made with a small pilot drill and then opened up with a stepper drill.
